there was a time of dark and sorrow
when there was like no tomorrow
looking for a soul to borrow
options being so narrow
then I saw a pair of eyes
setting light into the night
puting an end to the fright
and I just thought that might
I’ll have a chance to escape
from the sharpened claws of fate
I could for once eliberate
from being put alive in grave
but it was just an illusion
burning me as I was dreaming
preparing me for an intrusion
into death from the beginning
